Step-by-Step Guide to use it

Step 1: Select Video File

First of all, open Tech Assistant for Blind App in your phone. After this, among the many features, go to Video Editor Hub section. Here you will find Add Sound Effects feature, double tap on it. After this, click on Pick a video file button, and select the video in which you want to add Sound Effects.

Step 2: Add Sound Effect

Now go to Add Sound Effect option and select the desired sound effect from your device.

Step 3: Set the start and end of the sound effect

  • Enter the time from where the Sound Effect will start in Audio Start (seconds). - If you want to use only a specific part of the Sound Effect, enter its end time in Audio End (seconds).

Step 4: Determine the Insertion Point

Now enter the time in Insertion Point (seconds) where the sound effect will be added to your video. Now choose any one of the following Insertion Mode as per your requirement.

Over the Audio Mode: In this mode the sound effect is mixed over the original audio of the video. The original audio continues to play without interruption and there is no change in the total duration of the video.

Pause the Audio Mode: In this mode, the original audio of the video stops for some time at the specified Insertion Point. The sound effect plays first and after it ends, the original audio starts again from there.

After selecting incertion mode, click on add sound effect to timeline button. ### Step 5: View Added Sound Effects If you have added more than one Sound Effects, they will appear in the Added Sound Effects list. Any effect can be deleted if required.

Step 6: Preview the video

Now watch the complete video using Play Video option and make sure all the sound effects are added at the right place.

Step 8: Save Final Video

If everything is correct, click on Export and Save Final Video option. After this select Export Quality as per your requirement. Here you get the following options:

  • Video Default (Keep original) – Preserves the quality of the original video without changing it.
  • 144p (Very Low) – To export video in the lowest file size.
  • 240p (Low) – For less storage and easy sharing.
  • 480p (Medium) – Provides balanced quality for general use.
  • 720p (High) – To export video in HD quality.
  • 1080p (Full HD) – For clearer and better visual quality.
  • Highest (High Bitrate) – To export with the best video quality and higher bitrate. Now enter File Name and click on Save Output File. In a few moments, your edited video will be saved with the selected quality and you will easily find it in your File Manager, in the downloads/tech assistant/video editor hub folder.
