Snapshot & Glimpse Creator is a smart video editing feature, with the help of which you can create small Highlight Clips of any video by selecting important parts of it. After capturing the selected area, you can create many different highlights. All captured clips can be viewed at one place and any clip can be deleted if required. Once all the highlights are ready, you can export them in two ways – Save Highlights into a different file:

  • Create a Highlight Reel by combining all the highlights and add it to the beginning of the original video. Merge & Prepend Highlights to Video: Use this option if you want all the Highlight Clips you capture to be sequentially added to a single video and automatically added to the beginning of the Highlight Reel original video. With this, all the important moments are seen first in the beginning of the video and after that the entire original video plays. Apart from this, while exporting, many quality options like Default (Keep Original), 144p, 240p, 480p, 720p, 1080p (Full HD) and Highest (High Bitrate) are also available.

Step by step guide to use it

Step 1:

First of all, open Tech Assistant for Blind app in your smartphone. Now go to Video editor hub section of all features. Here you will find Snapshot & Glimpse Creator feature, double tap on it.

Step 2:

Now click on Pick a Video File button and select the video from your device from which Highlight is to be created.

Step 3:

Play the video by tapping Play Video. Use Rewind 10 Seconds, Fast Forward 10 Seconds and Replay from Start Marker options as required.

Step 4:

Select Set Start Marker to Playing from where you want to start the highlight. Now play the video forward and select Set End Marker to Playing where you want to end the highlight. If you want, you can also enter Start Position and End Position manually.

Step 5:

Listen or watch the selected Clip with the Play Selected Clip option and make sure the correct part is selected.

Step 6:

Now tap on Capture Clip from Current Start and End Marker Range button. Repeat the same process if multiple highlights need to be created. All Captured Clips can be viewed in View Captured Clips and can also be deleted if required through Delete Clip option.

Step 7:

After this, click on Export and Save Snapshots or Highlights button.

Step 8:

Enter File Name of your choice.

Step 9:

Now choose Export Quality as per your requirement. Available options:

  • Default(Keep Original)
  • 144p (Very Low)
  • 240p(Low)
  • 480p (Medium)
  • 720p (High)
  • 1080p (Full HD)
  • Highest (High Bitrate)

Step 10:

Now choose the Export Option as per your requirement. Export Clips as Separate Files Select this option if you want to save each highlight as a separate video. Merge and Prepend Highlights to the Beginning of the Video Choose this option if you want to create a highlight reel combining all captured highlights and adding them to the beginning of the original video.

Step 11:

Finally tap on Start Export Processing. Within a few moments, your Highlights or Snapshots will be ready and saved on your device in the downloads/tech Assistant/video editor hub folder.
