Narration Recorder

Narration Recorder lets you record your own voice directly over a video as it plays, and it's flexible about what you're narrating over in the first place. Beyond picking an existing video file, you can instead "Select Static Image" to turn a single photo into a base video clip of a duration you set, or "Select Blank Clip" to generate a plain solid-color video background from a palette of twenty-five named colors and several shade options — genuinely useful when you just need something for your narration to play against rather than existing footage.

Once your base video is ready, a "Voice" toggle decides whether the original video's own audio stays audible underneath your narration or is muted entirely while you speak. Tap "Record," and after a short two-second countdown beep to help you time your start, recording begins — with Pause, Resume, and Stop controls available throughout, and a clear status line always confirming whether you're actively recording, paused, or waiting for the countdown cue.

Every narration segment you record joins an "Added Narration Segments" list, showing its start time and duration, each individually deletable if a take didn't come out right. When you're finished, "Export & Save" lets you choose an export quality and filename before rendering your narrated video — a genuinely capable way to add your own voice-over to a video, a still image, or even a blank background clip, entirely without external recording equipment.
