The Video Editor Hub is the largest toolset anywhere in Tech Assistant, and it organizes its many tools into two clear groups the moment you open it: a set of Advanced Customised Editing Tools for genuinely creative work — adding sound effects, recording narration, layering music, overlaying text and images, blurring sensitive regions, building slideshows, and capturing highlight clips — and a set of General Editing Tools covering the fundamentals every video editor needs, from trimming and compressing to converting formats, extracting audio, and reducing noise.
A footer note on the hub's home screen states the app's approach plainly: every tool here processes your video entirely on-device, so nothing you're editing is ever uploaded anywhere. A gear icon opens hub-wide settings, including a "Hide Tool Descriptions" toggle for a more compact view, and — genuinely useful for a hub this active — an Output Folder setting, letting you choose exactly where your finished videos are saved rather than accepting the default location automatically.
Across nearly every tool in this hub, you'll notice the same dependable rhythm: pick your video, adjust the specific options for that tool, and export. Several tools — Trimmer, Cutter, Merger, and Format Converter among them — offer a meaningful choice between "Stream Copy," which processes almost instantly by leaving your video's underlying data untouched and only adjusting its container, and "Re-encode," which takes longer but guarantees frame-accurate results and universal compatibility. Choosing between the two is worth understanding once: stream copy for speed when a rough cut point is fine, re-encode when precision matters more than waiting a little longer.
Every export in this hub finishes the same reassuring way: a save dialog for your filename and export quality, a progress indicator you can cancel if you change your mind mid-process, and a success screen with an embedded player so you can watch your result immediately, right alongside options to share it or return to the hub for your next edit.
